Hi, I'm Laurie.

I found my way to soul-led entrepreneurship through a touring van.

I spent years as a musician — living by instinct, having a vision, taking action before I knew the full path, and building a business from scratch. That grassroots courage never left me. It just found a new stage.

I'm Laurie Gunning Grossman, founder of Hold the Light Collective: a global community of women waking up to themselves and choosing, maybe for the first time, to live the life they actually want — not the life others want them to live.

With 20+ years in editorial and media, I've spent my career translating big ideas into something you can actually feel and use every day. Now I do that at the intersection of spirituality, storytelling, and transformation. People keep calling it a soul overhaul.

What I do

I host the Hold the Light podcast and lead the only dedicated podcast and book study courses and  community built around The Freedom Transmissions — including a 6-month deep dive cohort. I write Build the Light, a weekly newsletter that is, quite simply, good news for the soul. I facilitate workshops and courses on intuition, inner authority, presence, and sovereignty. I co-create live experiences with soul-led guides, coaches, healers, and experts in the transformation space. Women join me from all over, the U.S., Canada, Australia, Scotland, Saudi Arabia. They arrive as strangers. They find their people.

The Freedom Transmissions & My Role as a Guide

A significant thread in my work is my leadership of The Freedom Transmissions book study and community — a guided, accessible space for people who want to understand and integrate these teachings in real life. After years of deep personal study and lived experience with the text, I was encouraged to go forth and share this work in my own way — with clarity, simplicity, and heart. I took that seriously, and also with a lot of joy, creating study groups, podcast seasons, workshops, and community spaces that honor both the depth of the teachings and the realities of everyday life.
